We are excited to invite you to the Great Lakes Region conference, Making Room. We are delighted that the Columbus Vineyard will be our venue this year. Registration is now open!

Our desire and intention is to have this last Great Lakes Region conference be a blessing to you, your staff, leaders and fellow believers. We hope to offer you both inspiration and practical application. Our schedule will permit ample time for worship, receiving through teaching and prayer ministry, as well as a chance to connect with folks during meals and free time. 

The most overchurched unreached area in America is Rural and Small Town USA. And yet very few churches let alone movements are targeting this unreached area. We want to change that. We believe that small town USA is a wide open ripe harvest field just waiting for workers. We’re praying this conference helps to stir up workers for such a harvest. We also believe it’s the best bang for Kingdom buck!

Standing in this world can be hard and standing as a Christian can be even more intense. No one said it would be easy. But let’s face it sometimes it is HARD. It just seems like there is one more hard thing [around the corner/we’re going to go through/to come against us].

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, God is calling you to leadership - to influence and impact whatever environment you find yourself in for Christ. Whether in the workplace, your neighborhood, or in your dorm room, you are called to lead where you are to influence and impact people for Christ. The Vineyard Columbus Leadership Conference is a gathering of people who have a heart to make a difference in the world for Christ. We will gather to learn and grow. We will gather to pray and worship. We will gather to be inspired and refreshed.

A Great Lakes Church Planting Boot Camp is coming up on September 9 & 10 at the Columbus Vineyard. This fall we will have two tracks running simultaneously - as we did last winter.

1. Discovery - this is a track for people considering planting a church. We'll take time to talk through what it takes to plant a church, what makes a successful planter, and pray for direction.

"Women in Ministry" Gathering is designed to refresh, encourage, and empower you! You are invited to join us for this very special time; connecting with God and building life-giving relationships with other women leaders from our region.

We highly recommend for you to bring interns, staff pastors, and other women serving as key leaders in your church.

We are looking forward to being together with you and sharing all that God has put on our hearts for you.

A Godly Perspective on Going Green

Saturday, April 17, 9am-1pm

The earth is a gift from God for all creation–people, animals, plants and the entire ecosystem. At this event we'll look at caring for creation from a Scriptural viewpoint. Bring your curiosity and explore with us.

Cost is $5.
An optional lunch made with local organic food is available for an additional $10.

Creation Care 2010 Schedule

Summer of Service is a week-long conference for students who travel to Cincinnati from all over the United States to learn how to serve others through acts of kindness, service, and mercy.

The nearly 1,000 students who attend will experience powerful worship, dynamic teaching, and then take it to the streets where they’ll serve the people of Cincinnati to show God’s love in practical ways. The goal of the conference is to give students an opportunity to grow closer to God while developing a heart to serve those around them.

Great Lakes Region Conference - SENT: to the unseen neighbor, the unreached nation, and the next generation

~ Who's invited? Pastors, staff, board members, volunteer leaders, anyone active in Vineyard churches and friends of Vineyard.

The conference will begin with registration at 1:30 on Tuesday, May 11 (first session at 3:30) and will end on Thursday, May 13, at noon.

This Boot Camp is on the topic of Communicating a Compelling Vision. The ability to communicate a compelling vision is so important to leading a community into the dream God has for them. We’ll hear from a couple of younger pastors who are actively engaged in doing the stuff, leading thriving communities into God’s vision for them. We run these training weekends to encourage, equip and empower active and potential church planters (and their teams) to do great things with God. We’ll spend time together, pray for you, and discuss some key practices in planting healthy churches.
