Doing The Stuff - Season 2

"Without His presence we have no power, without proclamation we make no difference and without practicality we never get traction."

This little statement has helped me understand why these three things are so important to the Vineyard. As a part of our Equipping the Saints series we will gather in January 2014 to be refreshed and empowered. The "Holy Spirit" will be the focus of this gathering and I hope you will be able to join us.

Phil Strout

Phil Strout is a gifted leader and communicator in the 21st century church. He brings over thirty-five years of experience in the areas of church planting and cross-cultural missions. Referred to as a “quintessential practitioner” for his work in Latin America and globally, Phil is not afraid to think outside the box and challenges others to do the same. Phil is a leadership coach as well as the author of God’s Relentless Pursuit: Discovering God’s Heart for Humanity.

For several years, Phil has served in the Vineyard on the board of Vineyard USA, as a Regional Leader, and as the Senior Pastor of Pathway Vineyard Church, a multisite church based in Lewiston, Maine. As the new National Director of Vineyard USA, an association of over 500 churches nationwide, Phil brings his non-hyped, down-to-earth, passionately authentic spirit and vision to leading the Vineyard Movement in its divine assignment.

Dianne Leman

For over 30 years Dianne has partnered with her husband Happy in leading the Vineyard Church of Champaign-Urbana, IL. After receiving her Master’s in Education from the University of Illinois, Dianne’s goal was to be a university professor. However, a radical encounter with the Holy Spirit turned her life upside down and she instead raised five children while preaching, leading and teaching as part of the Vineyard pastoral team. Dianne’s passions include Jesus (of course!), reading lots of books, walking with Hap, eating chocolate, drinking Starbucks, watching a good romantic comedy… and being an indulgent grandma. Dianne is the Spiritual Renewal leader for Vineyard USA and has a deep desire to see men and women join together in reaching the unreached in the power of the Spirit.

Robby Dawkins

Robby and his wife Angie have 6 boys. He is a fifth generation pastor who was born to missionary parents in Japan. Robby had served as a youth pastor for 12 years for churches between 50 to12,000 members before he and Angie planted a Vineyard church in the downtown area of Aurora, Illinois (Chicago area) 14 years ago. Their church has many gang members, drug addicts, prostitutes and just simply down and outers as well as middle class. Yet God has shown up to powerfully change these people’s lives through this pastor and church. 70 % of their church came to Christ at their church and 60% of that through Power encounters (Prophetic, Healing, Deliverance or ministry of God’s manifest presence). The mayor of Aurora along with it's chief of police recently bestowed upon Robby and the Vineyard an acknowledgment that he and his Vineyard church have made a significant difference in Aurora's crime rate reduction. Robby also ministers extensively as an itinerate minister (in the U.S. and in over 30 countries) equipping churches in Power Evangelism. He was most recently featured in the movie "Furious Love" in 2010 and will be featured in another film to be released in 2012 called “Father of Light”.

Randy Clark

Randy Clark, a noted international speaker, he is a doctoral candidate at United Theological Seminary, received his M.Div from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, his bachelor’s degree was in Religious Studies from Oakland City University. He was used of God to birth the revival that broke out in Toronto Canada in January 1994 that continued six nights a week for over twelve years. He is best known for the gift on his life for activating and imparting gifts of the Holy Spirit. The late John Wimber, was the first to recognize this grace on Randy’s life. John heard the audible voice of God tell him twice that Randy would one day travel the world laying hands on pastors and leaders to activate and impart to them gifts of the Spirit. Randy also continues to demonstrate the Lord’s power to heal the sick with great tenacity. While having been used to launch several famous ministers into the new level of their anointing by laying hands on them and prophesying to them, the focus of his ministry is on the average person in the congregation encouraging them that they too can be used of God in the gifts of the Spirit. His message is simple: “God wants to use you.” He is the author of There Is More and many other books, manual/workbooks, booklets, and materials. His book, There Is More is now being used as a textbook at the United Theological Seminary (a United Methodist Seminary) for one of the courses taught by Dr. Andrew Sung Park.
