Guidelines for Comments

Don't Be Anonymous - We must be able to contact you if we need to so you must at least give us your email address that can be verified. If you are not comfortable putting your full name use initials or a pseudonym.
Keep your language relational - No personal attacks, no name calling or belittling others, no profanity or offensive language. Also no organization or denomination bashing. Be nice.
Stay on Topic - Do not use your comment to air your opinion about things beyond the scope of the discussion or topic.
Add something new - If the same thing is being said over and over it doesn't need to be said again. Add a fresh perspective.
Don't require translation - Use the same language that the writer or blogger is using. Stay away from text message shorthand so everyone can understand your thoughts. Try not to use insider language that is not commonly understood.
Resource without promotion - Stay away from the shameless promotion of events or products or other sites. Use links to reference your sources or to add value or to resource others along the topic of discussion.
